New grants show up here.
A team of Grok bots reads program pages in the background and posts what it finds. You don't have to check fifty sites to hear about a new call.
Grant Guide lists the grants you could actually apply for on one page, so the week goes into the application instead of the search.
Big companies have someone whose whole job is grants. A founder has a browser, a day job and a deadline.
The money is real. Europe and its countries run dozens of programs for people starting things. But each one lives on its own site, opens for a few weeks, and explains who can apply in language written by lawyers.
So plenty of people who could apply never find out. Grant Guide puts the programs side by side. The money is public. Finding it shouldn't be a job.
Founder, student, researcher with a side project, two friends with a prototype. If it starts in Europe, this is for you.
What grants are for
Writing software costs less every year. What still costs money is everything around it: rent while you build, the prototype, the patent office, outside experts, the forms. That is the part a lot of European grants are designed to pay for.
Often covered by Founder stipends
Germany's EXIST Business Start-up Grant pays university founders a monthly stipend for up to 12 months, from €1,000 for students to €3,000 for PhDs, plus up to €30,000 in materials for a team. No equity taken.
Often covered by National innovation grants
France's Bourse French Tech from Bpifrance gives small companies up to €30,000, covering up to 70% of eligible costs such as prototypes and proof of concept.
Often covered by IP fee vouchers
The EUIPO SME Fund refunds part of the fees for trademarks, designs and patents, up to 75% depending on the voucher. The 2026 round runs to 4 December or until the money runs out, and some vouchers already have.
Often covered by Innovation vouchers
Many regions and countries run voucher schemes that pay for work from universities, labs or consultants, usually somewhere between €2,000 and €20,000.
Often covered by EU deep tech funding
The EIC Accelerator gives startups and small companies grants of up to €2.5 million. Most recent winners also took an investment from the EIC Fund, and that part does take a stake.
Venture capital is one way to start a company. It isn't the only one. A founder can cover a first year with a stipend, a prototype with a national grant and the trademark with a voucher, and still own all of it. Grants don't buy shares.
